SINOPSIS

Cerita  :
Di sebuah desa terpencil di Siam, Mak (Winai Kraibutr) akan dikirim untuk bertempur dalam sebuah perang dan harus meninggalkan istrinya yang sedang hamil, Nak (Intira Jaroenpura) yang mengantar kepergian Mak dalam kesedihan yang mendalam. Dalam perang tersebut, Mak terluka dan nyaris tidak selamat, namun dia berhasil kembali ke rumahnya untuk bersatu kembali dengan istri dan anak yang mencintainya, atau begitulah yang dia pikir sedang terjadi. Setelah pulangnya Mak, peristiwa-peristiwa misterius dan menakutkan pun mulai terjadi di sekitar desa tersebut.

Seorang teman Mak mengunjunginya dan melihatnya hidup bersama dengan Nak. Para penduduk desa yang mengetahui bahwa Nak sebenarnya telah meninggal dalam proses persalinan anak Mak beberapa bulan sebelumnya, menyadari apa yang terjadi, bahwa Mak telah terpesona oleh hantu Nak. Hantu Nak menjadi semakin tidak tenang dan agresif karena ketidakmampuannya untuk menerima kenyataan bahwa dirinya telah meninggal dini dan keputusasaan karena tidak bisa hidup dengan suami yang sangat dicintainya. Orang-orang desa yang berusaha untuk memberitahu Mak, atau yang tahu terlalu banyak, berakhir tewas dibunuh satu per satu oleh hantu Nak.

Sebenarnya banyak kali Film serupa mengenai Legend Mae Nak. salah satunya film yang dibintangi oleh Mario Maurer tahun kemarin (Pee Mak).
